The Booking Process

1. Connect

Let’s chat on the phone! This is where we get to know each other on a more personal level. You can tell me about everything you are looking for in your photoshoot. I know not everyone is a phone person, so if you would rather email, just let me know.

2. Booking

Once you are ready to book, a 50% non-refundable retainer is needed to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the date of your shoot. Once the retainer is received, we get to go over all the details of your shoot! We’ll work together to find the perfect location & vibe that captures your vision. I offer a guide to a wide range of locations — we can shoot outdoors in nature, at your home, in a professional studio, or anywhere else that speaks to you!

3. Photoshoot

About week before your shoot, I’ll send you some helpful tips, so you’ll know what to expect and how to prepare. You might start to feel nervous as the day approaches. This is okay and completely normal! I know it can be intimidating to have your picture taken, but don’t stress — I will guide you through the entire process. We’re just going to hang out, have fun, and make art!

4. Delivery

I put a lot of time and love into my editing, so my turnaround for image delivery is about 3 weeks (4-8 weeks for elopements). The photos will be available in a beautiful online gallery, where they will be ready for you to download and print!

What if I’m camera-shy?

You are not alone. As someone who is very camera-shy herself (true story), I make it my job to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and inclusive, so that you have room to be yourself.

When will I get my photos back?

Depending on your type of shoot, 3-8 weeks. If you need your photos sooner than 3 weeks, a $200 expedite fee is applied.

Do you deliver unedited/raw photos?

No, I do not. Raw files and unedited images are not reflective of my work. When you book with me, you get not only my time and skill in capturing the images but also my expertise in editing and curating a gallery.

Can you photoshop that?

My retouching process includes skin smoothing and blemish removal. If you have any concerns please let me know.
